Common faults we repair
The door sits crooked or one side has dropped
Usually a snapped or frayed lift cable. The door can jam in the tracks or come off them entirely.
The motor runs but the door doesn't move
The opener has come off the carriage, or the drive gear or belt has worn out. Sometimes it's as simple as the door being left in manual release.
The door reverses halfway, or won't close
Normally the safety beam is out of alignment or something is sitting in the opening. Force settings on the opener can also drift over time.
Loud grinding, banging or squealing
Worn rollers, dry bearings, or loose fixings in the track. Left alone, these turn into bigger jobs.
The remote won't work
Flat battery, lost coding, or interference. We recode and supply remotes for most brands.
